Who we are
Migasoka Farm is the story of three women, a piece of land, and a willingness to begin.
We moved to our farm four years ago, to a house that needed everything and a property that was flat, open, and full of possibility. It wasn’t polished or ready — but it felt like the start of a new adventure.
Before we were even properly moved in, animals began arriving. had four horses and had just welcomed five baby goats and some chickens into our lives and the makeshift pens and shelters built around them. We planted trees for shade in the paddocks, learning quickly that goats have their own ideas and will happily munch their way through the future if given the chance.
At the same time, we were renovating the house, juggling work, animals, fencing, planting, and learning as we went. It was chaotic for a while — but it was real.
Today, Migasoka Farm is home to around 30 goats, 10 horses, sheep, ducks, chickens, turkeys, and two milking goats who have become part of our daily rhythm. Alongside the animals, we grow medicinal plants such as comfrey, calendula, valerian root, and other botanicals that have long been used to support skin and overworked bodies.
What began as caring for ourselves and our animals naturally grew into something more. We started crafting products to support dry skin, tired hands, sore bodies, and everyday wear — using what we grow, what we know, and what we trust.
Everything we make reflects the way we live: practical, creative, hands-on, and deeply connected to the land. Our products aren’t rushed or overcomplicated. They’re made to be useful, gentle, and easy to reach for — whether it’s at the end of a long day, after physical work, or as part of daily care.
Migasoka Farm is still evolving, just like we are. But at its heart, it’s about care — for the land, for animals, for skin that works hard and lives fully.
